I’ve been in that hole twice. Almost had to move back “home” at one point. Keep trying. My pops gave me the best job advice. Health Care, School Districts and Municipalities. Anything remotely Gov’t related and you can’t go wrong.

I still live at home....at 30 :/

I’ve got a BEd, so I’ve got certification there, but I also have a history degree/Museum experience, so I try there as well (which I quite enjoy).

I have a lot of computer repair experience, as I do that on the side (and tech. tutoring), but I have no certification for that so employers ignore me for that one most of the time, same with my library experience (i.e. I work there, but no certification).

I was at home till 25. Sometimes I wish I stayed longer.

It’s not much different in the “Skilled Labor” fields. After 2008 things really changed. Everything seems harder than it should be now.

All you can do is keep trying.

There’s always call center work it’s my go to unemployed go to. Last one was work from home, allowed me to job search easily. You just need stable internet and a computer.

I’ve worked for Amazon, Convergsys and Support.com Amazon was the best but seasonal support.com is better than Convergsys because they pay a little better and have excellent health benefits
